As we get ready for the 2023-24 NHL season, it's time to talk about the trade buzz surrounding all 32 teams.

This summer has been pretty hectic, and there's still a lot of work to do before the puck hits the ice. Be on the lookout for trades as teams assess their talent during training camp.
The Boston Bruins are going through some major changes this season, mainly due to a couple of players retiring, which has left some noticeable gaps in their lineup. Let's take a closer look at the trade rumors swirling around the Bruins:
1. Mark Scheifele
The Bruins really need some help at the center position. We'll have to keep a close eye on how Charlie Coyle and Pavel Zacha perform in the early part of the 2023-24 season.
Mark Scheifele of the Winnipeg Jets might just be the answer. Talks about extending his contract with the Jets have hit a roadblock as he enters the final year of his current deal.
With impressive stats from last season (42 goals and 68 points in 81 games), Scheifele could be a pretty enticing prospect for the Bruins.
2. Logan Couture
Another player worth keeping an eye on is Logan Couture from the San Jose Sharks. The Sharks are in full-on rebuilding mode and have been talking trade this offseason.
Couture still has four seasons left on his $8 million per season contract, making him a bit of a challenging but interesting trade target. He put up 67 points in 82 games last season, and that kind of production could be a valuable addition to the evolving Bruins roster.
General manager Don Sweeney is expected to explore options for moving a goalie during the season.
The Bruins have some limitations in their asset pool, so either Linus Ullmark or Jeremy Swayman might be on the move to give some extra firepower to the forward lines. Ullmark, coming off a record-breaking 2022-23 season and a Vezina win, is a strong contender.
On the flip side, Swayman, who's six years younger, is establishing himself as one of the league's top backup goalies and will be a restricted free agent at the end of the season.
So, keep an eye on the Bruins, as they're gearing up to be quite active in the trade market, and the goalie situation could play a big role in their moves this season.
