The Providence Bruins, AHL affiliate of the Boston Bruins, have strengthened their roster with a notable signing. General Manager Evan Gold announced the acquisition of forward Owen Pederson, securing his services for the next two years until the 2024-25 season.
Pederson, a 21-year-old talent, showcased his abilities with the Winnipeg Ice in the WHL last season, impressing with 74 points from 65 games. Standing tall at 6-foot-3 and weighing 193 pounds, Pederson has consistently delivered throughout his career.
During his four seasons with the Ice, he accumulated an impressive 198 points in 200 games. Hailing from Stony Plain, Alberta, Pederson initially started his WHL journey with the Kootenay Ice before finding success in Winnipeg.
