Brad Marchand made an appearance on NHL on TNT Wednesday night, where he was announced as the inaugural winner of a distinguished new award.
Outshining the Competition
The captivating NHL on TNT panel, featuring former players such as Paul Bissonnette, Anson Carter, Keith Yandle, and even Wayne Gretzky, unveiled a brand-new trophy dedicated to one exceptional player this season.
The "Mr. TNT" award celebrates players like Marchand who exhibit a distinct personality both on and, more importantly, off the ice.
Other contenders for the award included Ryan Reaves, Matthew Tkachuk, Tage Thompson, and Mitch Marner. Last night, the panel officially declared Marchand as the award's first-ever recipient.
