Bruin Recognized as Best Winger by NHL Players and Execs

Throughout the season, the Boston Bruins have been a force to be reckoned with, thanks to outstanding performances from players across the board.

Praise from Peers and Executives

This impressive performance is highlighted in a recent survey by ESPN, which polled various NHL players and executives to rank the top players in each position.

The results showcased Bruins MVP David Pastrnak receiving high accolades. ESPN's Greg Wyshynski quotes a Western Conference executive:

�'His one-on-one ability. His shot. This guy is just an elite scorer and can create,'' a Western Conference executive told ESPN. ''For so many years, it was Bergeron and Marchand with him. You are seeing even without those guys, he has the oability to create offense on his own. That is such a unique attribute and a player like that even at his age continues to develop.''

Since being drafted 26th overall in 2014, Pastrnak has regularly played with Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron, which has helped him rise to the top of the league.

''Pastrnak is a heck of a player,'' a veteran skater said. �'I think [Brad] Marchand and [Patrice] Bergeron have helped him so much.''

Paired primarily with fellow countrymen Pavel Zacha and Krejci, Pastrnak has achieved the 50-goal and 100-point milestones for the first time in his 9-year career. Through 77 games this season, Pastrnak ranks second in goals (56) and is tied for fourth in points (103).
