Bruins Targeting This Top 6 forward!

Published December 29, 2023 at 7:28 PM
The Bruins seemed to have turned it around after their rough stretch of games before the Holiday break. They will be however major players at the trade deadline. They find themselves at the center of the rumor mill again with reports linking them to top six forward from the San Jose Sharks Anthony Duclair. With the financial limitations of the Bruins this year and the lack of draft picks in the coming draft, the Bruins will most likely be out of the sweepstakes for Elias Lindholm (however they will sure give it a try). This makes Duclair a very interesting name. Duclair is known for his speed, skill, and goal scoring prowess.

Duclair, the 28-year-old forward, does not have numbers that jump off the page at you with seven goals and six assists through 32 games. However, he is playing on one of the worst teams in the league in the Sharks with a 9-24-3 record and looking to the future. The Sharks will definitely be sellers at the deadline and Duclair is just the type of under the radar player that could boost the Bruins offense. Given the struggles of Jake Debrusk the Bruins could use a winger with scoring ability such as Duclair.
