Charlie McAvoy was an unstoppable force on Friday night in Florida, as the talented defenseman guided the Bruins to an impressive game-three victory against the Panthers.
McAvoy demonstrated his ability to dominate a game and subdue the opposition with his physical prowess.
Even though he wasn't the largest player on the ice, he relentlessly hammered the Panthers' forwards throughout the night.

In the postgame interview, Taylor Hall highlighted one specific hit that established the game's momentum early on:
''I felt what set the tone for us was Charlie McAvoy laying a big hit on the 1st shift. That was a tell-tale sign of the night of how hard we were gonna play. The 1st period you want to dictate the play & you want to play Bruins hockey & I thought we did that.''

One of the game's pivotal moments occurred when McAvoy stepped up against Anton Lundell late in the match, immediately halting a Florida offensive drive.
As a result, Boston secured a power play after the subsequent scuffle, even though the Panthers managed a short-handed goal.
McAvoy has already matched his playoff career-high of eight hits in a game twice in this series (games one and three). As noted by Conor Ryan, Boston's star defenseman left his mark all over the ice in game three.
