Since becoming a part of the Bruins on February 23rd, it's fair to say that Dmitry Orlov has surpassed any anticipations fans had before witnessing the defenseman don the black and gold.

During his 19 games with Boston, the 31-year-old has averaged 25:11 of ice time, with the following statistics:

From February 25th (his debut with Boston), Orlov ranks 14th among NHL defensemen in points, tied for the third-most goals, and tied for the ninth-most assists.

Orlov has not only been a delight to observe defensively but has also integrated so seamlessly that he's achieving at a level he's never reached in his 11-year career. Across 62 games split between the Capitals and Bruins, he now boasts 6 goals and 27 assists.
