In the midst of the chaotic final seconds on Wednesday night, teammates apparently had to restrain Trent Frederic in the tunnel after Ryan Lomberg crossed the line on the ice.
Game two between the Bruins and Panthers came to an abrupt end with just three seconds left on the clock, as pandemonium erupted on the ice.
John Zannis from CLNS Media reported that Frederic was incredibly upset and had to be restrained by his teammates in the tunnel.
''Trent Frederic was fuming heading to the dressing room, screaming, presumably at Ryan Lomberg for attempting to choke him while the two were on the ice. Had to be restrained.''
During the intense scrum, Frederic and Lomberg squared off and tumbled to the ice. At this point, it's evident that the Panthers forward had Frederic in a firm headlock.
