Last night, Mason Lohrei of the Providence Bruins was forced to leave the game early due to a leg injury, which occurred with just over 13 minutes remaining in the first period. The injury seemed severe, possibly caused by a skate blade, as Lohrei struggled to leave the ice, clearly in distress and favoring his left leg, suggesting a potential cut or knee issue.
We currently have no update, but we will know more in the coming days.
Throughout this AHL season, Lohrei has made a significant impact on the ice, contributing 1 goal and 5 assists in 15 games, showcasing his defensive and offensive skills with a commendable +7 rating.
