Matthew Tkachuk Praises the Bruins Following Grueling Series

Being the best comes with a target on your back, as everyone wants to defeat you. This is precisely what happened when the Florida Panthers triumphed over the Boston Bruins in the playoffs' opening round.

Despite the Panthers securing a nail-biting overtime victory in game seven at TD Garden, with Matthew Tkachuk playing a significant role, the All-Star winger had only positive remarks for the Bruins. According to NBC Sports:

''The talent they have over there in Boston, the guys who have done it for years, their core is unbelievable.''

''The fact that we were able to do what we did after what they've done all year, and obviously just so much respect for those guys who've done it forever, and the young players coming in. They're an unreal team. The best I've played in my NHL career. So the fact that we were able to beat them in the playoffs is crazy.''

At 25, Tkachuk topped the series leaderboard with 11 points (5 goals and 6 assists) in 7 games, including the primary assist for the series-winning goal by Carter Verhaeghe.
