Marc Savard, currently the assistant coach for the Calgary Flames, has quite the hockey history. He played for several teams during his career, including the New York Rangers, Calgary Flames, Atlanta Thrashers, and Boston Bruins. He also had a brief stint with the St. Louis Blues in 2019–20.
Savard recently received the honor of being named one of the Boston Bruins' historic 100, a select group of individuals who made a significant impact on the team's history. He expressed his gratitude, saying, "What an honor!!! Top 100 Bruins of all time," and added, "FYI I Miss everything about Boston and everyone in Boston."
While Savard currently coaches in Calgary, there's been talk about a potential future role with the Bruins' management. This transition might not happen immediately, but it's a possibility worth considering. Beyond his coaching skills, his experience as a former player could make him an excellent fit for player development.
