Fabian Lysell, a standout prospect for the Boston Bruins, made waves when he was selected in the first round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. In a recent interview, Lysell shed light on his off-season aspirations and the strides he's taken to achieve them.
"My main focus has definitely been on building up my strength. I'm aiming to add some size, but the key goal is to become stronger overall, to feel more solid in my body. I've been fortunate to work closely with my trainers, and I believe I've made significant progress,"
Lysell remarked.
Given his current stature at 5'11 and 176 pounds, his emphasis on strength development is well-founded. Notably, Lysell delivered an impressive performance last season, securing 37 points through 14 goals and 23 assists across 54 games with the Providence Bruins in the AHL.
At the age of 20, Lysell's potential for growth and improvement shines brightly, promising an exciting trajectory for the young athlete.
