Since being drafted by the Boston Bruins in 2017, Jeremy Swayman has gained valuable insights, with one of the most significant lessons coming from Brad Marchand.
In a video posted by the NHLPA, various NHL players recounted their early days in the league, including some memorable missteps. Swayman, the sole representative from the Bruins, recalled a story from one of his initial practices at Warrior Ice Arena in Boston, where a very upset Marchand set him straight during a drill.
The 24-year-old goalie currently ranks 19th in the NHL in wins (23), fourth in save percentage (.921), third in goals-against average (2.22) and fourth in shutouts (4).
