During Monday's TD Garden Media Day, Milan Lucic and Brad Marchand shared their perspectives on Brad Marchand becoming the 27th captain of the Boston Bruins. Lucic expressed his surprise at the transformation, while Marchand praised Lucic's return to the team in light of offseason retirements.

Charlie McAvoy, one of the alternate captains, discussed the diverse leadership styles on the team and his desire to define his own leadership path. David Pastrnak also emphasized the importance of learning from experienced leaders.

Coach Jim Montgomery noted that McAvoy and Pastrnak now lead the team, supported by players like Hampus Lindholm and Charlie Coyle. McAvoy concluded that the current group is determined to write the next chapter in Bruins history.
