A ridiculous trade rumor has just surfaced involving the Boston Bruins and Edmonton Oilers

There have been a lot of ridiculous trade rumors that have surfaced this offseason, but this one between the Boston Bruins and Edmonton Oilers has to take the cake.
The trade rumor involved sending Leon Draisaitl to the Boston Bruins for Joonas Korpisalo and a 1st-round pick. Most of the time these rumors are not even worth commented on, but when something is this laughable, it has to be addressed.
No matter if Leon Draisaitl and the Oilers are far apart on signing a contract, there is no chance this proposal has any merit or logic behind it. Draisaitl is easily a top-5 forward in the NHL, he scored 41 goals and 65 assists for 106 points and a +/- rating of +26.
Joonas Korpisalo on the other hand, is not considered an elite starting goalie. In the 2023-2024 season he went 21-26-4, 3.27 GAA, and a .890 save percentage. If a trade were to ever happen, the Bruins would have too send significantly more to Oilers.
