Another Former Boston Bruin Forward, Austin Czarnik is no longer going to be trying to make an NHL squad as he decided to go continue his pro career over sees in Switzerland.

Czarnik, now 31 -tears-old, has signed a long term deal with Sc Bern of the Switzerland's National League. This past season he jumped back and fourth with the Detroit Red Wing and their AHL Affiliate, the Grand Rapid Griffins.
In 34 games for the Red Wings, he only posted 1 assist, scoring no goals and achieving a +/- rating of -3. In 38 games with the Grand Rapids Griffins in 2023-24, he recorded 10 goals and 28 points.
He was always going to be a depth, bottom 6 forward but still had opportunities to try and make it to be an everyday NHLer. He is among many who have decided to continue playing in their home countries overseas.
We wish him all the best in this next chapter of his career.
