The Boston Bruins were defeated by the Florida Panther in Game 2, 6-1. However, even in the defeat, we saw several brawls take place. After scoring a shorthanded goal, Florida Panther Brandon Montour celebrates in Brad Marchand's face and a brawl ensues.
This was not the first all out brawl that we saw in this game as we saw one earlier in the 3rd period. After Brandon Montour scored a goal and celebrated, it appears Brad Marchand did not like how he celebrated, which is what caused the brawl. Clearly, with the score being 6-1, these brawls are more likely to happen. Let's hope we continue to see fights like these throughout the series, but with the Bruins on the winning side.
