The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney have yet to lock up Jeremey Swayan to a contract and fans are getting more frustrated everyday that goes by.
Time and time again Don Sweeney has stated that signing Swayman is the organizations #1 priority, but as development camp nears closer, the two are still far apart on on what they want.
In a report by Bruins Network, they state that contracts like this one take time and there is no need to think negatively on Sweeney nor Swayman, but fans still can't get over that they traded away Linus Ullmark before locking Swayman up. With out Ullmark, the team now are desperate to sign him in order to have a true #1 goalie, and Swayan now has all the leverage.
Everyone can agree that negotiations are not easy, but the fact of the matter is the Bruins NEED Swayman, not the other way around, regardless if he wants to stay a Bruin, he is not going to take a big salary cut nor compromise his security.
Sweeney needs to figure this out now before it is too late.
