The Bruins acquired Mark Kastelic in the trade that sent Vezina winning goaltender Linus Ullmark to the Senators.
Boston has big hopes for Kastelic but not in terms of point production but in battling in the corners for 50-50 pucks and adding speed to their bottom 6 forwards this upcoming season.
«We need to get a little faster, and I'd like to see a little more 50-50 puck battle wins. That's just an area where you have to want the puck more than the other team.»
The 25 year old is solid in the corners and a fast player but also plays a physical brand of hokey tallying 126 hits last season for the Senators in 63 games.
Clearly these are areas the Bruins are looking to improve on which is why they added Kastelic in the trade for Ullmark.
