Bruins make incredible offer to free agent Jake Guentzel

The Bruins are currently looking for a new top 6 forward and it seems they have their eyes on Hurricanes forward Jake Guentzel.
Guentzel reportedly is asking the Hurricanes for an $64 million contract over 8 years which they have yet to offer but if the Bruins can make a better offer, he could end up being in Boston next season.
"The belief is that Jake Guentzel had an ask for Carolina which I believe is 8x8..
I think the Hurricanes have indicated that they will do that contract and now we're waiting to see if it gets hammered out" ~

This would be a huge signing for the Bruins as he would be exactly what they are looking for to improve their offense for next season.
