As the trade deadline comes ever closer, the Bruins are looking to improve in numerous areas. The main issue with the team is the lack of draft capital and unwillingness to move some of their prospects. This means that the team will need to look at their roster players and seek out help by moving one of their goaltenders.
According to 32 thoughts podcaster and Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman it's becoming clear that Linus Ullmark will be the likely player to be moved at the deadline.
With Jeremy Swayman starting more games and a sudden need to determined which goalies from the HL will be ready to make the next step into the big league, this gives Don Sweeney an opportunity to refill their draft picks along with a potential prospect by moving Ullmark.
"so, if they want to make changes, it probably has to come off their roster, and that's why people I think are looking at (Linus) Ullmark."
Ullmark owns one more year at 5 million AAV on his contract which would give another team some term to help solidify their next season. This is all marks third season with the Bruins and after playing 28 games, he has a record of 16-6-5 with 2.72 goals against and a .914 save percentage.
