The Bruins beat the Leafs in game 7 on Saturday night and will now take on the Panthers for game 1 of the 2nd round with only 1 day of rest.
Bruins center Charlie Coyle was asked after practice this morning about the short break to which he said he thinks it is a good thing as the team is able to stay in rhythm and build off game 7.
Charlie Coyle on the quick turnaround from Game 7: "I think it's great. You don't get out of it. You're in that mode, you're right back into it. It's a new series, but same mindset, same things we want to bring. You're just on to the next one. Bring that excitement and focus."
Clearly the Bruins had a short rest between series but Coyle does make a good point as the team will be able to build off of momentum from game 7 instead of losing it with multiple days off.
