DeBrusk takes shot at Bruins management
Bruins fans have been wondering all season long if forward Jake DeBrusk will be returning next year as his contract expires on July 1st and they have yet to re-sign him.
At this point it seems like DeBrusk's time in Boston has come to an end since they have yet to discuss and extension and free agency opens in exactly a month. DeBrusk said he is dissapointed and wanted to stay in Boston but understands their standpoint.
"Yeah, but I understand business is business," DeBrusk said. "I've been here for a while. I've seen lots of deals get done with guys and things, so I kind of understand what their side is and how they usually operate. So it wasn't necessarily like [I was] completely surprised, but I thought it'd be done."

DeBrusk had a very inconsistent season which is why it comes as no surprise that the Bruins are letting him go.
