Former Boston Bruins coach undergoes urgent open heart surgery

It was reported on Saturday, July 5th that Former Boston Bruins Coach undergoes urgent Open Heart Surgery.
It was soon after revealed that the surgery went very well for Keenan and he is stable and is expected to make a full recovery.
Most recently, Keenan was the Head Coach for Team Italy, he has stepped down during this difficult time but will still be a executive consultant.
No longer Italy's National Head Coach, but will be their hockey consultant. Recovering well from open heart surgery 🙏 ❤️🩹 👍🏻
He last coached in the NHL during the 2007-2008 season and was a coach for the Bruins in the 2000-2001 season.
This isn't the first major medical scare that Mike Keenan has undergone, he announced in 2018 that he was battling Prostate Cancer.
