The Bruins placed forward AJ Greer on waivers at the beginning of the season and he was unfortunately claimed by the Flames, having a solid season as a bottom 6 player.
Greer did not put up a ton of points as he currently has 12 points this season but did play very well defensively and physically with 99 recorded hits on the year.
After a solid season, providing a lot for the Flames fourth line, there is a chance that Greer ends up with a short-term deal this summer for the Flames.
If Calgary decides to let him hit the market, he will likely be able to land a contract elsewhere, as many teams would be interested in having him as a bottom 6 player.
