A surprising list was reported yesterday proving how many head coaches have been fired in the past 2 season as Golden Knights head coach Bruce Cassidy is already the 6th longest tenured coach in the NHL.
This comes as a surprise to many fans since Cassidy was only hired by the Knights on June 14, 2022 which means it hasn't even been 2 years yet.
Bruce Cassidy is the 6th longest-tenured coach in the NHL.
He was hired by Vegas on June 14, 2022.
That's bonkers.
1. Jon Cooper, TBL - 3/25/13 2. Mike Sullivan, PIT - 12/12/15 3. Jared Bednar, COL - 8/25/16 4. Rod Brind'Amour, CAR - 5/8/18 5. Martin St. Louis, MTL - 2/9/22
Cassidy jumped into the 6th position after news broke yesterday morning of Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe getting fired.
