The former Jack Adam's Award winner in nearing the end of his deal with the Bruins but fans are wondering if he will be behind the bench next season. On the Podcast named Pucks and Haggs, the hosts discuss if he has done enough.
Montgomery to his credit has helped the Bruins finish first and second respectfully in the Atlantic division in consecutive seasons but has never gotten past the second round with his Achilles heel being the Florida Panthers. While the Panthers are an excellent team and the reigning Stanley Cup champions, Montgomery hasn't been able to win the big game when it mattered most.
There are mixed opinion on social media from Bruins fans if they want Montgomery to return or not.
