There has been a lot of speculation regarding forward Elias Lindholm since the season ended since he is one of the biggest UFAs on the market this summer.
The Bruins seem to be very interested in the centerman as he is exactly what they need up the middle and would be a great fit on their top 6.
Boston tried to land Lindholm at the trade deadline but was unable to come to an agreement with the Canucks but not that he is a free agent, it is a different story. The Bruins also have $21.6 million in cap space this summer which means they have the means to offer him a solid contract.
According to insider Pierre Lebrun, there is no chance Lindholm re-signs in Vancouver as they have already offered him a contract but he is not interested.
"I do believe the Canucks make a strong push to re-sign Lindholm, which may mean having to clear more space out. But I suspect the 29-year-old's price will be too high for him to resist going to market. He should receive tremendous interest given the scarcity at his position and his skill set."
