Today at 5PM marked the last day and deadline that RFA's could sign a deal with their teams. Jeremy Swayman is still unsigned meaning he will battle it out to get his contract in arbitration once again.

Today at 5pm is the deadline for arbitration eligible RFAs in the #NHL. The Jeremy Swayman watch is on. Swayman has stated previously that he never wants to go to arbitration again #NHLBruins #GetBent

Last August, Swayman went to arbitration and vowed he never wanted to go through that process again. He was awarded a 1-Year, $3.475 million contract where he shared the net with Vezina winning G Linus Ullmark. Now that he is the #1 goalie and proved his worth in 2023, he wants a contract in the range of $8 million.

Absolutely blown away by the Boston Bruins letting Jeremy Swayman head to arbitration again. Our worst nightmare is letting any team get a chance at him. But if I'm being honest at this point if he finds his way out of Boston because Don Sweeney is a clown it will be nothing

Going to arbitration isn't the worst thing for Bruins fans but to give any other team a shot at him when you have no other goalie to fall back on is more of a concern than it was last year.

We will have to wait to see when the hearing gets announced.
