While us Boston Bruins fans are still waiting for Swayman to sign a contract, there were some developments today that could indicate a signing in just around the corner.
Jeremy Swayman shared some amazing moments with some youngsters when he decided to surprise a group of young hockey players in Maine. He appeared over a zoom call to talk and answer questions from the Maine's annual ice hockey Youth Summer Camp.
As he appeared on the screen, they all started to cheer and chant his name over and over. "Swayman"... "Swayman"... "Swayman"... "Swayman".
Before Swaymans time wearing the spoked B for the Bruins, he played 3 season in college for the Maine Black Bears and is their all time leader in saves and goals against average.
He obviously means a lot to the university and that town and its always awesome to see a pro give back to the community and take the time to mentor the next generation of hockey players.
