The Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery spoke to the media today ahead of their game 1 matchup tomorrow night against the Leafs.
Montgomery spoke of how it will not be an easy match up against the Leafs since they have a lineup full of star forwards and that the Bruins will have to be aware of those players on the ice. He added that they cannot afford to give up odd-man rushes as it will cost them.
Coach Montgomery on the #NHLBruins matchup with Toronto: "We've got to be aware of their top-end forwards...we can't give up odd-man rushes and we gotta make them defend. Probably the same thing they're saying about us. It all comes down to execution."
Although the Leafs have a strong offense, the Bruins have been able to shut them down in all four matchups this season, which means if they stick to what they usually do, everything should work out fine.
