Rumors were spread that Ullmark rejected a trade close to the deadline due to his 15-team no trade list. The Bruins netminder was asked directly about how he felt regarding the rumors to which he gave the most diplomatic answer possible. Ullmark stated he was happy to stay a Bruins and did not want to be anywhere else.
Ullmark also stated his gratitude towards his goaltending partner, Jeremy Swayman, stating that he got emotional after Swayman's statement about Ullmark after their last game.
