Linus Ullmark opens up on why he wont be signing an extension with the Sens
When Linus Ullmark was dealt to the Ottawa Senators, it was expected that he would sign a extension right away, but it seems he is it putting off until certain things are settled first.
The blockbuster trade sent Ullmark to the Nations Capital and the return for the Bruins was not what fans expected. Boston received a 1st-round pick (25th overall), G Joonas Korpisalo and forward Mark Kastelic.
Ullmark was set to sign an extension as the terms of the deal, but he needs to be certain that Ottawa as a city and home for his family is going to be the right fit first. While he figures his personal matters, he is going to let his agent handle the negations. It's Reported hose contract conversations have not started yet.
It looks like the Ottawa Senators could have another Alex DeBrincat situation on their hands
The former Vezina award winner achieved a record of 22-10-7 in 40 GP, a 2.55 GAA, and a .915 save percentage.
