Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand disclosed today that he underwent 3 major surgeries this offseason for a torn tendon in his elbow, groin, and abdominal.
In today's captains practice, Marchand commented on what is felt like to be back with the team and seeing all the new faces he will be fighting alongside with.
Brad Marchand on being back at the rink: «This is a fun time of year getting back to the rink and a lot of guys kind of coming back into town... good to see the new guys come in and the old guys come back, so it's nice.»
In 1,029 career games with the B's, the 36-year-old future Hall-of-Famer has scored 401 goals and 929 points. Bruins fans hope he is 100% this season as they will need him to step once again in order to make a run for the Stanley Cup.
