Poitras' rookie campaign was cut short last season in January due to a shoulder injury that required surgery. At just 19-years-old, he has a super high ceiling, but what is even more important is that his floor is high. and in most cases, players with a high floor are some of the most successful in the NHL.
He only has 33 games of NHL experience, but is looking to pick up where he left off before he was injured. Poitras was on pace for a 37 point season and if he is fully healthy, insiders are predicting he could break the 40 point mark.
