Montgomery makes major statement to the media

The Bruins have lost their last 2 games and seem to be playing with a lack of intensity and urgency which is alarming to management.

Brad Marchand spoke to the media after last game acknowledging that the team needs to step things up and cannot be playing at this pace as they approach the playoffs.

Jim Montgomery also added to this at a press-conference following practice stating that he is disappointed in his team's lack of effort and it showed at practice when he gave them a piece of his mind. Montgomery expects more from his team at this time of the year, especially with a locker room full of experienced veterans.

The Bruins only have 10 games left in the season to turn things around before the playoffs while having a tough 2 games coming up against the Lightning and Panthers.
