Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery finally gave away the Bruins plan headed into the playoffs for their goaltenders and why Jeremy Swayman played again last night.
Montgomery said that the plan was to let each goaltender play one game then move forward by playing the hotter goaltender which is why Swayman got the start.
Jim Montgomery told @TVASports in a post game interview that the plan was to give one start to each goalie and play the one that was hot after. That explains why Jeremy Swayman played again tonight. @NHLBruins
If the Bruins continue to follow this gameplan, it means we will see Swayman back in nets to close out the series in Game 5.
