Following a disappointing game 5 loss in overtime, Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery spoke to the media about what he thought of the game.
Montgomery told reporters that the Bruins simply did not play well enough last night and that Toronto came ready to play.
#NHLBruins Jim Montgomery postgame:
«We weren't good enough. Simple as that. Toronto came out ready to play and took it to us. We weren't ready to match their desperation.»
The Bruins did struggle in the first period as they only had a few shots but did step up their game later on which was clearly not enough as we are heading back to Toronto for game 6.
