The NHL announced that Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman has joined elite company after an incredible 1st round series against the Leafs.
Swayman is now only the second goaltender in Bruins history to post a save percentage of at least .950 in a series while playing a minimum of 6 games. The only other Bruins goalie to achieve this is Tim Thomas in the 2011 finals who had a .967 save percentage against the Canucks.
Jeremy Swayman (.950 SV%) joined Tim Thomas (.967 SV% in 2011 SCF) as the second @NHLBruins goaltender on record to post a save percentage of at least .950 in a playoff series (min. 6 GP). #StanleyCup
Clearly Swayman was on fire against the Leafs but the question for game 1 against the Panthers remains the same, Will the Bruins start Swayman or Ullmark?
