NHL makes an interesting announcement regarding captain Brad Marchand

As the Stanley Cup finals are underway, NHL public relations took to social media to release some impressive statistics regarding Bruins Captain Brad Marchand.
In his rookie season, Marchand put up an impressive 41 points then followed that up by being a huge part of the Bruins cup winning team as he had 19 points n 25 games during the playoffs including 3 points in game 7.
Brad Marchand (5-2�7 in 2011 SCF) had a 41-point rookie campaign in 2010-11 (77 GP) and then collected nearly half that total in 25 playoff games (11-8�19 in 25 GP), including two multi-point games in the #StanleyCup Final. #NHLStats
Marchand since 2011 has been a massive part of the Bruins organization helping them reach the finals twice in that time unfortunately losing both times.
The Bruins captain is now up for a contract extension in which GM Don Sweeney has made clear that the two parties will be coming to an agreement as they both want Marchand to stay in Boston.
