Leafs forward Mitch Marner has been taking a lot of heat since game 7 after he was seen gliding down the ice after David Pastrnak skated by to scored the game winning goal.
Panthers head coach Paul Maurice spoke to the media prior to game 1 defending the Leafs forward saying that the Leafs play a different neutral zone system that the Bruins and that may not have been Marner's guy.

Even if Maurice is right, this is a bad look for Marner as he could have stepped up to at least try and stop Pastrnak.
