The Bruins were officially eliminated from the playoffs last night after a 2-1 loss to the Panthers in game 6.
At the end of the game, the crowd cheered on Jeremy Swayman's name to make sure he knew how great of a job he did in the playoffs. Following the game, Swayman spoke to reporters on how much Boston means to him.
Jeremy Swayman on hearing his name chanted at the end of Game 6:
"I couldn't be more grateful to have a city, have a home base that's as supportive as Boston. They mean so much more than just fans to me. It's truly a home for me now."
Clearly Swayman is excited for the future with the Bruins as he believes great things are ahead.
