Sweeney announces key Bruins forward will in fact test free agency
Bruins GM Don Sweeney held a surprise press conference yesterday in which he announced some interesting news regarding Jake DeBrusk.
Sweeney told the media that DeBrusk will be in fact testing free agency after all which was unsure after the Bruins were eliminated from the playoffs since DeBrusk was such a big part of their run this season.
Sweeney on DeBrusk:
"I suspect that Jake will head to UFA and test the market. Remain consistent that we have been in negotiations with Jake � haven't had any productive talks in quite some time.
"At end of the day, that's his prerogative to see what July 1 brings for him."

While DeBrusk will be testing free agency on July 1st, this does not guarantee he will not be back next season with the Bruins.
