The Boston Bruins have officially elevated Mason Lohrei

During the previous game, the Bruins encountered an issue when Andrew Peeke sustained an injury. He was forced to exit the game following a puck striking his hand. Presently, his availability for the upcoming game remains uncertain.

To ensure preparedness, the Bruins have summoned Mason Lohrei from their minor league affiliate. He has demonstrated strong performance there, registering four goals and nine assists this season. Despite his recent limited appearances with the Bruins, they have confidence in his ability to contribute if necessary.

Now, Lohrei will contend with Parker Wotherspoon and Derek Forbort for a position in the lineup. Wotherspoon filled in for Peeke in the previous game, but with Forbort's return from injury, he presents another option.

With Peeke's status up in the air, Lohrei's return provides the Bruins with increased defensive options. They will require all their players ready for the upcoming game.
