The Bruins signed forward Elias Lindholm during the off-season to a lucrative contract despite his struggles last season.

Lindholm still managed to put up 44 points last season but the Bruins are hoping he will be able to return to the player he was during the 2021-22 season where he average a point per game with 82 points in 82 games. Lindholm was playing one of the best lines in hockey that season with Matthew Tkachuk and Johnny Gaudreau which he won't have in Boston but he will have David Pastrnak.
Lindholm was a force to be reckoned with and was part of one of the best lines in hockey. He was flanked by star wingers Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Tkachuk and collectively the trio scored 73 goals. Lindholm was a point per game player having 82 points in all 82 games and reaped the benefits of playing with those guys. There is reason to believe he can have this type of season again.

While there has surely be an adjustment period, Lindholm will be a great fit in Boston and will help with offensive production which was a problem at certain points last year.
