Exciting news for Flyers fans! Former player Mark Recchi is set to join the team's Hall of Fame on January 27, 2024, in a ceremony before their match against the Boston Bruins.

Recchi had an impressive run with the Flyers, amassing 123 points in one season and ranking sixth in assists with 395 in team history. Keith Jones, Flyers' President of Hockey Ops and Recchi's former teammate, emphasized, "He truly deserves this honor."
The Flyers' leadership recognized Recchi's significant role, with the boss stating, "[Recchi] played a part in numerous pivotal moments during his 10 seasons with the Flyers."
In response, Recchi expressed his surprise and gratitude, saying, "I didn't see this coming. My time in Philadelphia holds a special place in my heart."
The last Flyers to enter the Hall of Fame were Paul Holmgren and Rick Tocchet in 2021.
