Campbell was hired in 20022 by the Coachella Firebrids of the AHL, where she also made history as being the first women coach in professional hockey.
And Zach Hymen's celebrity gold tournament this weekend, he commented on the historical moment.
"Yeah, that's such an amazing moment for her. She's been in Coachella for the last two years with Dan (Bylsma) and been part of his staff. Obviously, she deserves to be, where she is, and that's amazing growth for the game. We are all super excited to have her behind our bench and listen and learn from her.
