Today, head coach Jim Montgomery shared a prognosis for Derek Forbort's injury, and unfortunately, the most severe outcome has been verified.

Keeping it Safe With Injuries

Forbort suffered a lower-body injury while blocking a shot during a game in Buffalo this past Saturday. Puck Empire reports that the Bruins have now declared that Forbort will be out for the remainder of the regular season.

The Bruins are now without Nick Foligno, Derek Forbort - and maybe Taylor Hall - until the postseason.
