The Boston Bruins are demonstrating their adaptability early in their centennial season, maintaining a fluid approach to their line combinations.

As reported by Conor Ryan on Twitter, Bruins' head coach Jim Montgomery shared updates on two injured forwards. Unfortunately, the news isn't promising. Milan Lucic will be sidelined for a couple of weeks due to a lower-body injury, and Jakub Lauko will miss one week after suffering a facial fracture.

The setback for Lucic occurred when he blocked a slap shot with his foot during a game against the Los Angeles Kings, leading to missed shifts. Despite attempting to play in the following game against the Anaheim Ducks, he abandoned warm-ups after just one lap and was subsequently scratched.
