Before Tuesday's matchup with the Oilers, Sheldon Keefe talked about Tyler Bertuzzi's latest performance, the decision to shift Matthew Knies down the order, and Joe Woll accompanying the team on their western road trip.
It's reasonable to say that this season hasn't met the expectations of Bertuzzi and the Maple Leafs. While Bertuzzi certainly brings a level of toughness to the team, his offensive output hasn't matched his previous performances in Detroit or Boston. Currently, he stands at six goals and 18 points this season. In Detroit, Bertuzzi once hit the 30-goal mark. Last season, he scored four goals and earned 16 points in 21 games for the Bruins, and in the Boston playoffs, he contributed five goals and 10 points in seven games.
